Be the Designer of Your Own Destiny!


This month has been AMAZING not only for myself but for my team, Team Royal Dream!!! And it all comes full circle for me and amazes me because just 14 months ago I was UNHAPPY & BROKEN. I went over and over in my head ‘is this for me’? I was scared to death to jump into this ‘coaching thing’ and if it was a ‘scheme’ like everyone has claimed? 

I looked at transformation photos/stories until I was blue in the face before I decided to take the leap to jump into coaching. I followed and watched allllll of these coaches having great success with this business and thought to myself…… 'can I do that’? At first I thought NO WAY and I let myself think that for a good few months (I wish I could go back and kick that Jenn in the butt!!) Boy was I sooooooo wrong!!! I could do this and comparing myself to anyone but myself wasn’t going to get me anywhere!

I talk to new challengers and new coaches daily and I see so much of ME in them…..scared to take a chance on themselves, scared they won’t be successful, scared of not getting results, and about a million other fears…...that I at one point had! And guess what?? None of that would’ve changed for me if I wouldn’t have gotten out of my OWN WAY! We hold ourselves back in life, no one or anything does that for us, we do that allllll on our own! Crazy, huh?!

I look back now and think, what if I wouldn’t have stayed consistent everyday and I would’ve thrown in the towel on my goals & dreams?? My life would’ve went on as normal, I wouldn't have met ALL the amazing people I have and built the great friendships I have through this opportunity, my credit card debit would still be piling higher and higher, I wouldn’t be in the most happy/healthiest place of my life AND most importantly, I wouldn’t have been able to have a CHOICE to turn down a job I didn’t want to pursue something that I love! I would still be in that same place I was 14 months ago before I decided to get the hell out of my own way!!!

I get asked ALOT ——— ‘How did you make the decision to become a coach?’ Well it boils down to this ——— I fell in love with the products and I said to myself ‘what do I have to lose?’ At that point the positive out weighed the negative thoughts in my mind so I went for it! Heck, I was sitting here looking at these transformations and success stories everyday, why NOT create my own success story?!

A little advice I can give to you, and pray that you take it, is to stop waiting and wishing things will change in your life, because that time will NEVER come, you need to get up and MAKE change happen in your life, if you don’t, who will??? You are in charge of your own destiny……….ask yourself this ——>>> WHY NOT YOU?

On My Way to Living ------>>> Financially FREE!!!

I get giddy every time I am able to hit the 'submit' button on a payment that is more than the minimum monthly payment!! And this one was no different!!! Because of my Beachbody paycheck last week I was able to submit a $200 payment on another credit card! 



To some this may not be a big deal but for someone who 1 yr ago was drowning in debt (not telling her husband what she owed), paying minimum monthly payments with no end in sight, this is HUGE!!  AND by month end the remaining $560 balance on this card will be PAID IN FULL!!! Gggaahhhhhh to say that brings tears to my eyes!! That makes credit card #6 that Beachbody has contributed to helping me pay off!! I couldn't be more blessed and thankful for this opportunity!!  And to think I get to do what I love everyday!!!

21 Day Fix Extreme Results & Thoughts/Review

WOW!!! Just like that it's been 21 Days and I am a graduate of the 21 Day Fix Extreme (the sequel workout to the 21 Day Fix)!!! Two HUGE accomplishments that came out of this program for me were that I actually was able to stick to my meal plan (I usually stink at following meal plans!) AND I didn't have one single drop of wine in 21 Days!!!! I can say that I'm patting myself on back for that! I learned how will power really plays a role in my health & fitness journey with this program for sure! 





The Real Deal: 
I have done 2 rounds of the 21 Day Fix and let me just tell you Autumn definitely took it up a notch for the Fix Extreme!! And I LOVED every minute of it!! The workouts incorporate cardio and strength, with lots of weight and resistance band work (me and the red band eventually became friends.....see photo below), it's a great mix of the two! AND the best part about it is the workouts are only 30 mins. long!!! Who doesn't have time for a 30 min workout? 



I actually surprised myself because I really really enjoyed the Yoga portion of the Fix Extreme. By the time Sunday came around and it was Yoga day, my body was soooooo ready for it!! 



The 21 Day Fix Extreme definitely did not disappoint, and I am extremely happy I did it!! Best part about it is even though it's an extreme program, if you've completed programs like the 21 Day Fix, Insanity Max30 or T25 you will totally ROCK this program!! 


The Results Are In: 
Drum rolllll please......I have to admit I gained about 3-4 lbs after I finished Insanity Max30. I got comfortable and was indulging a little too much on the weekends and it showed!! 
I am 100000% over the moon about my results with the 21 Day Fix Extreme because I really thought I would struggle with the nutrition and no wine thing! BUT once I set my mind to something I will stick to it! Soooooo even though I don't follow the 21 Day Fix meal plan to a T, I do use the containers for measuring out my food and what I should and shouldn't have each day and I stuck to that!

I honestly couldn't be happier with the results from this program and am happy to say that I WILL be doing another round ASAP!! I have a photoshoot coming up on May 16th and I know this program will whip me into the shape I need by then!!! Sooooo I am living it up this week and back at it on May 4th! May Confidence Project

Weeks 2 & 3 of Insanity Max 30 Update & Thoughts

Power JUMPS definitely = NO JOKE!


Sorry I didn't make a post for ya last week, it's been quite the busy month around here!! Let me just start with this ------>Ohhhhhh boy!!!! I cannot believe I am going into Week 4 of Insanity Max 30!!! The past 3 weeks have been GREAT!! The 10 minute Ab Attack workout was added into the mix and let's just say my abs are SORE!!! I've said it before but I'll say it again, I am sooooo happy to have ShaunT back in my life!! This program is challenging me not only with my pushing my body to it's limits & beyond BUT challenging my mind!! Everyday there is a move in a workout that I say to myself 'I cannot do this I'm going to Max out' then I hear ShaunT on the screen saying 'if you stop I'm making you do power jumps!' OHHHHH HE** NO!!!! That right there will make you do 50 more! hahahahhaha! Power Jumps really are NO JOKE!! 




I am finally feeling STRONG again since starting Max 30! It's crazy to think that in 3 weeks I am starting to get a little {as my husband would call it} baby bicep!!! Since starting my journey I have definitely got more definition in my arms but they weren't 'strong' NOW I can say they are gaining more definition and muscle than EVER before!! I mean I can see why, we do about 50 push ups in every workout hahahaha! 


Soooooo it has been extremely cold here in Pittsburgh, PA and when I say extremely I mean BITTER!!! I've lived here my whole life and it hasn't really bothered me until this year!! I couldn't even imagine what would happen if I had to go out in the cold every night to go to the gym?! Ohhhhhh I KNOW {insert light bulb} I wouldn't go and I'd use the cold as an excuse! No excuses when you do it at home! I am so thankful that I get to do my workout on my own time in the comfort of my own home everyday! 

REALLY???!!! 1 Degree? UGH! 


Let's chat about FOOD....
WOW wanna talk about a tough 2 weeks.....I don't know why but my nutrition has been one word, OFF!? With the cold and Valentines Day it was tough to resist the temptation to say the least! It's been tough for me to actually follow my meal plan and eat ENOUGH? Oddly eating that much good stuff is tough for me.....I am definitely a work in progress when it comes to the nutrition aspect of this! One thing that I can say is ALWAYS a constant in my nutrition and always will be is my yummy Shakeology for breakfast! I am really bad when it comes to breakfast (I used to grab a little pkg of powdered donuts and a diet soda and that folks was my breakfast!) but Shakeology keeps on track AND healthy!!! It's amazing the things that it has done for my health! (blog to come on that this week!!!) 

Yes I have had a rough road with my nutrition throughout this whole program thus far BUT one thing I can say is I'm not quitting or failing! I could easily say 'screw it I'm going to eat whatever I want, I'm working out 6 days a week so I can eat what I want!' NO NO NO!!! Because I know that you cannot out work a bad/poor diet! There is just no way! I will not give up or quit, I will work hard each week to focus on where I stumbled a bit and work hard to improve on it the next week. 





A HUGE step in my business: 
The past 2 weeks were absolutely AMAZING in my Beachbody business! Sooooo not only did I reach one of my BIG goals and move my business forward BUT 2 of my personally sponsored coaches moved forward in their businesses!!! And I couldn't be more proud of them and NONE of this would be possible without my AMAZING team, the wonderful ladies of Team Royal Dream!! I owe it all to them!

What exactly does this mean.....that we are helping LOTS of people change their lives for the better!!
If you asked me a year ago if I would be typing this status today, I would've laughed in your face!!! LITERALLY!!! Never in a million years did I EVER think I would be passionate about mine & other peoples health and fitness!! I can sit here and be 1000000% honest with you when I say that Beachbody has totally changed my life!!! I am NOT a different me, I am a BETTER version of me! I have met the most amazing woman and have built friendships for life and there are times I have to pinch myself and say 'is this really happening?'

I have found my calling & my passion and I am not slowing down, my mission is to help YOU in whatever aspect of your life you need help in, health & fitness or living the life you've always wanted.....I started this out thinking 'ya it'll hold me accountable for my workouts and I'll get a sweet discount'.....NEVER did I ever think it would turn into this!! God has blessed me & put this opportunity in my hands, it is my DUTY to share it with YOU!

What it comes down to ------- > Don’t EVER just settle, if you want something go out and get it and make it happen, you can do anything you truly put your mind to! And don’t EVER be afraid to DREAM BIG, REAL BIG!!! I know I am dreaming BIG! I couldn’t be happier that I took that JUMP and made the decision to join Beachbody!! I am grateful everyday for this opportunity and my only REGRET is that I didn't do this sooner! I am BY FAR no fitness or nutrition specialist but I know what has worked for me and it started with Beachbody products, I have never in my life been so confident & happy with ME! And I WILL do whatever it takes to share it with and help as many people as I possibly can because EVERY-ONE MATTERS and should have a chance to experience the AWESOMENESS of Beachbody!





As I go into week 4 of Insanity Max 30 I am excited, nervous but most of all proud of how far I have come over the last year with my health & fitness and NOW my Beachbody coaching business......isn't there a song.....I can hear it in my head now.....'ain't no stopping me now'!! OH YA!!!

Week 1 Insanity Max 30 Update & Thoughts

O-M-G YOU GUYS!!!! I finished my 1st week of Insanity Max 30 and I couldn't be more excited!!! Let me just tell you that this program is AHHHHH-MAZING!!! I am so happy to have ShaunT back in my life and pushing me beyond my limits!! 



Day 1 and #IMAXEDOUT @ 11:42

I am not gonna lie this program is no joke and there were definitely days in this week that I struggled BUT I was finally excited to come home and workout each day, which is exactly what I missed so much! Every single workout gets harder but working out 6-7 days a week for the last 8 months has paid off because I am actually able to keep up!!! Not saying that when the workout is over I don't *SPLAT* on the floor of exhaustion, but it's a GREAT feeling!! 





On Thursday I had to wake up at 5am to workout because I was going to the Garth Brooks concert with some friends in downtown Pittsburgh......soooooo I knew I wouldn't get my workout in that day if I didn't get up early to do it! There I was at 5am NOT wanting to workout but I did it {thankfully} and THIS happened.........





I literally was in total SHOCK when I realized the workout was over and I didn't max out!!! Craziness for my 1st week but definitely something I will have to push for every time during that specific workout!!


Let's Talk Food & Nutrition: 
Let's just say I SUCKED this past week when it came to my nutrition, I mostly stuck to my meal plan but definitely had more treats/cheats than I would've liked! I did keep up with my Shakeology daily (it is my life saver so I #nevermissashakeology) so that really helped me stay on the right track! Plus I got this AWESOME new cup from my coach Allison, how could I NOT drink my Shakeology out of it? 







Something was just off with me this week, I cannot pinpoint it. Maybe it was me getting bored with my food or feeling like I needed something more? Who knows....BUT I am BACK and this week I am following my meal plan to a T!! I adjusted somethings with this weeks meal plan so that I don't get bored, there is more variety and different foods!! I am sooooo ready to take this week head on and totally forget about last week! 






This week is going to be interesting with the workouts because we get to add the 10 Minute Ab Attack in 3 times during the week! My main focus this week is fueling my body each day with ALL healthy foods, drink plenty of water and {NO CHEATS} until the weekend!!! We have some fun things planned this weekend so sticking to the meal plan this week is a MUST!! It's all about your perspective and changing that so that you look at it as a positive thing.........stay tuned!!

Are you SOOOOOO excited that it's finally Friday and the dreaded work week is FINALLY OVER?? I know I sure am!!! But thankfully I have Beachbody coaching and it's helping me work my way towards living my life by design and on my terms!!

I have been on my crazy, awesome, fun & rewarding journey for the past 8 months and they have been the best to date!! And it’s crazy to think all of this happened and I have this AMAZING opportunity because of a simple invite {just like this one} from my coach! I have become happier, healthier and finally able to pay off some of my pesky debt!!! CRAZY ----> I do have 1 BIG regret though…..that I didn’t do this sooner!!

When I first heard about coaching & Beachbody I was one of the non-believers but Focus T25, 21 Day Fix, PiYo, Shakeology and the amazing support system that I am surrounded by daily quickly changed my mind and I was able to see Beachbody coaching for what it truly is, an amazing opportunity and platform for me to LIVE my dreams!!

It’s true when they say ‘when a passion meets a profession, magic happens’! I get to wake up everyday and help people become better versions of themselves, to help inspire them to go after their goals & dreams! P90 Results are IN & The the Start of My Insanity Max 30 Journey Begins!!!

Sooooo OK OK OK!! I admitted I was a slacker with my weekly update posts with P90 and I SOOOO apologize for that!! BUT the results are in and I am going to be 100% honest with you on this one!!! 




P90 was a GREAT program, I actually love changing it up and this was a nice switch up for sure! BUT 90 days is ROUGH and it's alot, let's be honest!! It got a little repetitive and I feel like some days I was just going through the motions. In my opinion, this program is definitely GREAT for someone who is just starting on their journey or getting back into working out, I wouldn't recommend for someone who has done harder/more intense programs such as FocusT25 or the 21 Day Fix. With that being said, my results are in and I did exactly what I wanted to do, toned up and maintained my weight!!!

Mission Accomplished!

I can say that I am happy with my results from P90, losing more weight was not something that I wanted so this worked out perfectly for me!! I can definitely see more toning & shaping of that boooootttyyyy {which by the way was NON EXISTENT before Beachbody! ;)} and that's what I wanted!! 





Today I started my Insanity Max 30 journey and I couldn't be more excited but I must say I am gonna miss my weights/sculpting exercises from P90!!


Insanity Max 30 is NO JOKE!!! Let me just tell you that!!! Cardio, cardio and MORE cardio!! But I loved every minute of it!! Having ShaunT yelling and pushing me through when I am sooooo ready to give up is just what I needed after P90! (Tony Horton is much more laid back!) I cannot wait to see what the next 60 days brings, I know this workout program is going to push me harder than I have ever been pushed and I am excited for that and to grow through this program! 

I maxed out @ 16:52 very PROUD moment!!! 


NOW onto everyone's favorite part......the FOOD!!!! Insanity Max 30 follows the 21 Day Fix meal plan with the containers which is soooooo COOL!!! I have been following a pretty good plan of my own but wanted to step it up a notch with Insanity Max 30 to maximize my results so I sat down with the book, planned out my meals and voila! Meal plan=DoNeZo!!

It's nothing too crazy and I am totally used to eating the same thing daily because that is what works for me (everyone is different!), whatever works for you stick to it! I am not saying this meal plan is right or wrong I just know that it has worked for me! With that being said I plan to stick to this 100% throughout the week and give myself some 'cheats' in moderation on the weekends!  I will most definitely be having my 'comfort food' and healthiest meal of the day of Shakeology everyday for sure!!! Shakeology does a body good! Here is what I have come up with for my 1st week meal plan and I was shocked, I was actually FULL today and wasn't hungry or 'hangry' (angry/hungry LOL!)!!





I am so excited to go on this journey and cannot wait to share it with you!! I plan to share weekly updates (if my life isn't CRAZY!!) with you so you can go on this journey with me!!

My Super Bowl Favorite Snack Recipes!

Ok so smack me upside the head NOW....I seriously had NO CLUE the #SuperBowl was this weekend until I was looking for recipes for the blog and all these 'what are your favorite snacks for Superbowl Sunday?' recipes popped up in my google search!!! SEE what happens when my Steelers aren't in it, I don't pay any attention! Either way I am ALWAYS a TRUE #SteelerGirl!! 



Sooooo in the spirit of Super Bowl Sunday only being days away {even though my boys aren't in it!} I wanted to share my  3 favorite snacks/appetizers with you! 

First up is.....my *Skinny Buffalo Chicken Dip*

-2 cans of 95% Fat Free Canned Chicken (shredded)
-8 oz. of Greek Cream cheese
-1/2 cup of Frank's Red Hot
-1 TBLSP for WildTree's Blazin' Buffalo Seasoning
-1 cup Fat Free Ranch Dressing
- 1 1/2 cups of Fat Free Shredded Cheddar Cheese
*Mix all ingredients (only 1/2 of the cheese) in a sauce pan, bring to a boil, once finished garnish with the remaining cheese and serve with yummy BLUE Tortilla Chips!*





2nd in my top 3 is.....*Mini Tacos*

-Won ton wrappers in muffin tins filled with taco seasoned turkey meat, fat free cheddar cheese & bake for 8 minutes at 350. Top with favorite taco toppings! ..yum!



AND 3rd on the list is......*Zucchini Pizza Boats* OHHHH YES, they are deliciously healthy!
